A fun set of vintage Christmas ornaments depicting circus characters--a ringmaster, a strong man, a clown, an animal trainer, and a pair of flying acrobats. The ornaments are made from canvas and wood enhanced with painted details and fabric clothing.

• Condition: very good, the strongman had a place in the upraised fist that originally held a wooden dumbbell and the clown is missing one wooden hand.

Vintage Halloween paper party plates. The decoration features a ghost scaring a witch off her broom. The rim is decorated with bats and jack o'lanterns. Circa 1950s-60s. Excellent condition. Size: 6-1/4" x 6-1/4".

Fantastic hard plastic candy container in the shape of a hen sitting on a nest. Candies are inserted in the hole in the breast. When the tail is moved up and down, the candies are dispensed out of the bottom of the nest. Perfect for egg-shaped jelly beans! Marked "1964 Ideal Toy Corp." Excellent condition. Size: 6" long, 3-1/2" wide, 8" tall.

During the heyday of British Airway's service on the Concorde, VIP passengers were treated to an ever-changing variety of gifts--lugggage tags, silver decanter labels, airplane models, etc. This "Mini World Atlas" is such an example. The small book is bound in gray leather, and the front cover is embossed in silver with the Concorde logo. The pages are also gilt in silver. The book's spine is uncracked and it has never been used.

Vintage Halloween paper party napkins featuring a jack o'lantern scarecrow. Circa late 1960's--early 70s. Excellent condition. Size: 14" x 14".

Great hard plastic "Easter Express" candy container/toy. Unmarked, but made by Rosbro. This is a great example of how the company made parts interchangeable so they could create new items by joining together a seemingly endless selection of rabbits, ducks, roosters, chicks, etc. Circa 1950. Excellent condition, original "grass". 8" long, 7-1/4" tall.

Rare hard plastic Easter Rooster pull toy by Rosbro. This is an older version of the toy and has its original red and green wheeled platform. He even has what appears to be his original pull string. Circa 1950. Excellent condition. 6" tall.

Great hard plastic "Easter Express" candy container/toy. Unmarked, but made by Rosbro. This is a great example of how the company made parts interchangeable so they could create new items by joining together a seemingly endless selection of rabbits, ducks, roosters, chicks, etc. Circa 1950. Excellent condition, there is a crack on the underside by the axle that appears to have happened at the factory, since it is completely secure and shows no signs of regluing. 8" long, 7-1/4" tall.

Nice vintage blown glass Christmas ornament in the form of a "Popcorn Head". Condition: a few paint rubs on high spots on the face, no cracks or chips. Size: 2".

Cute vintage hard plastic Easter candy container in the form of a bunny pushing a wheelbarrow perfectly sized for jelly beans. The painting is unusually detailed and gives this piece special appeal. Unmarked, but probably made by Rosbro, circa 1950s. Excellent condition; there is a manufacturing flaw on one ear. Size: 3-1/4" long; 4" tall.

Cute composition Easter chick candy container. The surface is covered lightly with Venetian dew. Unmarked, but probably German, from the late 1940s. Condition: a few nicks on the bill, the top of the head and along the opening in the bottom; the slide bottom is missing. 4-1/4" tall.

A nice lithographed tin spinning top toy with a design of children playing with dogs, chicks, rabbits and pigs. The lower sides and the very top are decorated in a patriotic pattern of red, white and blue stripes and stars. The bottom is marked by Ohio Art. Working condition.

Origin: America, 1950s. Condition: very good, normal paint wear from play. Size: 7-1/2” diameter; 7-1/2” tall.

Vintage composition Easter chick candy container. The pull out bottom is marked "Made US Zone Germany." Terrific color and overall condition (there's a 1/2" paint flake on the top of the head.) 3-7/8" tall. This will be a nice addition to that special Easter basket. Circa 1948

Wonderful vintage tin Easter basket with colorful lithographs of nursery rhymes including Little Bo Peep, The Cat and The Fiddle, and Peter Pumpkin Eater. The bottom is marked with J. Chein's mark.

Origin: America, circa 1950. Condition: a very small ding on the side, paint rubs along rim, lithographed areas are in terrific condition with bright color. Size: 7-3/4" diameter; 8" high.

A vintage bisque Halloween candy container in the form of a black cat rubbing up against a jack o'lantern. The porcelain is heavier than many bisque items, suggesting it is of American origin.

Fun chenille chick in a yellow pressed paper Easter Egg. Used as an Easter table decoration, it might also have been used as a candy container for jelly beans or other small candies. Unmarked, probably Japanese, circa 1930's. Great condition. 2-1/2" tall.

An unusual vintage Halloween wooden ratchet noisemaker decorated with a plastic black cat. This is the only old wooden ratchet we've seen with a plastic decoration. The ratchet is stained orange with a green clacker. The cat is marked "Made In Japan."

Origin: America, circa 1950. Condition: excellent, a little paint scuffing along the rim and a 1/4" rust spot on the side. Size: 5-3/4" diameter, 5-1/2" high.
