Heavy, thick walled vase in cobalt blue cased in crystal, with silvery air traps in a repeating geometric pattern.

The vase stands 8 inches tall and is 4 inches in diameter at the top. the base tapers to 2 1/4 inches.

This vase weighs in at 9 pounds, a lot of weight to work with on a handmade, hand-finished piece!

Beautiful slip graal bowl in maroon and clear glass, circa 1954. Intriguing floral or snowflake design at botton of bowl is the focus from which all the 'arms' of the spiral emanate, really lovely. The piece is engraved "Orrefors S Graal Nr. 1970L Edward Hald" The dimensions of the bowl are: Height 2 1/2" (6.4cm) Width 4 3/4" (12cm) The condition of the bowl is excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs.

This is the largest size Thule vase made by Holmgaard. The vase, made in smoke grey glass, is 9 1/4 inches (23.2 cm) in diameter, and stands 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall at the highest point. It tapers to 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm) at the base. It is in excellent, near mint condition, with no discernable scratches (except for those expected on the base), and no chips cracks or repairs. Absolutely beautiful piece of glass! The base is signed Holmgaard/1961 with Per Lutken's cypher

Orrefors bowl internally decorated with blue spiral, with a black glass foot. Bowl has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches (cm) and a height of 2 inches (cm). Signed on the foot ORREFORS/S-GRAAL nbr 670-D/Edward Hald. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1969

Four-lobed, melon shaped decanter with sterling silver mounts at the neck and stopper. The decanter stands 10.25 inches (26 cm) tall with the stopper in place, and is 8 inches (20 cm) with the stopper removed. The neck of the bottle is sterling (not overlay), and is marked CCH DENMARK 925S 228. The flat, circular stopper is approximately 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) in diameter and 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) long including the sterling mount, which is also marked CCH 925S...

This large, heavy vase stands 11 inches (28cm) tall and tapers to 9.5 inches (24cm) wide at the opening. The rim of vase is gently scalloped. The clear ice-blue color of the glass is typical of Stromberg, and the vase is signed in script "strombergshyttan B99" to the base. Condition of the vase is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Circa 1935/36

Pair of handblown footed compotes of clear smoky/bluish glass for Kosta by Vicke Lindstrand. Circa 1940, they both bear the engraved mark KOSTA/LH/1734 on the foot. Bowls measure 6 3/8 inches (16.2 cm) diameter and stand 6.25 inches (15.9 cm) tall. Condition is excellent with a couple of minor light surface scratches; no chips, cracks or repairs.

Bengt Edenfalk vase for Skruf. This squat, rounded corner vase is from the 1950's Spun series where glass threads are wound around the exterior of the piece as decoration. Edenfalk was a designer for Skruf from 1953 to 1978, then Kosta from 1978 on, pieces from the Spun series were featured in a major exhibition at Corning Museum of Glass in 1959. Large Splatter glass vase for Hadeland (Norway) designed by Gro Bergslien. Vase is a combination of opalescent glass, splattered with blocks and networks of colors in yellow, rust, greens, and pinks, cased in clear glass. There are also embedded bubbles, adventurine, and mica spangles. The vase is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall and 7.75 inches (19.7 cm) in diameter. Marked on base Hadeland GroB in script. Fire polished pontil mark. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1970.

Rare, early Eva Englund vase from her days at Pukeberg prior to joining Orrefors. The piece dates from 1966, is very large and in exceptional condition. The series of these vases was called Eldlek ("Fireplay"). This vase is in exceptional condition, having no cracks, chips or repairs. The vase is heavy, thick walled, and has a lovely Chartreuse color. Large wheel engraved vase depicting birds in trees just leafing out, the design is executed over the entire surface of the vase from base to rim. The shape of the vase is a tapering, pinched, ovoid form. The vase is in exceptional condition, with a couple of light surface scratches on the interior or exterior of the vase as is normally found on older glass; no chips, cracks or repairs...

Orrefors Fishgraal (Graal) vase, circa 1954. Large crystal vase with fish swimming in pond with pond weed. Rarer, near spherical form. Signed ORREFORS/Graal No. 1159 H/Edward Hald. Piece measures 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall and is 5 3/8 inches (13.6 cm) in diameter. Highly reflective and gives illusion of many more fish swimming in pond. Condition is excellent,has minor surface scratches but no chips, cracks or repairs. Age appropriate scratches to base.

Kosta "Dark Magic" vase designed and hand-formed by Vicke Lindstrand. Vase stands 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) tall. Very organic form in gray cased glass. Color of vase varies with the angle and intensity of light. Vase does have a 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) scratch on the surface, shown in photos. No other damage. Signed Kosta LH 1605/V. Lindstrand.
