Pair of perfume bottles of clear crystal glass with heavy sterling overlay in an Art Nouveau pattern of Iris, Leaves and scrolls, with hand-worked detailing. Both the neck and rim of the bottles are encased in silver. Sterling overlay stoppers are matched to it's bottle, stoppers are marked with identical number as it appears on the base of the bottle. Bottles are not monogrammed. Condition of bottles is excellent with no chips, cracks, or repairs...

The trunk features solid brass fittings including the lock, latches and heavy brass handles. These handles will never fall off unlike the leather ones which dry out, crack and fade away. Antique Goyard Trunk, early 1900's, from the estate of noted Opera Soprano Geraldine Farrar (America, b. 1882; d. 1967). She had her Metropolitan Opera debut in 1906, and performed opposite Enrico Caruso in 1907 in the American premiere of Madame Butterfly, and was later a celebrated Carmen. She retired from Opera in 1922. She was also a silent film star, debuting in Carmen directed by Cecil B. DeMille, starring in 13 films in her career...

Louis Vuitton Wardrobe Trunk in Monogram canvas covering. Sold at Saks and CY in New York; I am guessing that this dates circa 1920's to 1930's. It is in great vintage condition with all brasses intact. Crown topped heart-shaped figural buckle of an entwined Dragon and Serpent. Dragon holds a prong set pearl in his mouth and has a green cut stone set as his eye, which appears to be a Peridot. The Serpent has a red cut stone set as his eye, which appears to be a Ruby. The buckle is marked in 4 lines on the "tongue" of the buckle; a right facing Lion, an Anchor and a "G"/STERLING/B504/a Sickle (date mark for 1899)...

This excellent figure of a Blackamoor is made from black (dark amethyst) and lattimo glass with gold foil and gold powder, red glass accents his turban. The figure stands 10 1/2 inches (27 cm) tall and is 5 1/4 inches (13 cm) wide/deep. The figure shows great detail from the folds in the turban, to his gold accented, black buttoned shirt and his open waist coat. No chips,cracks or repairs. Blown green glass vase with extreme pencil neck and bulbous base with a clear foot, all in the satinato finish characteristic of Carlo Moretti. The vase is marked with the Rosenthal-Netter label, for whom Moretti made these particular vases, attached to the base of the vase. Vase measures 17 7/8 inches (46 cm) tall.
