Vetreria Alfredo Barbini incalmo spherical vase consisting of fused transparent amethyst and amber hemispheres, with cut and polished opening. Height is 9.5 inches (24 cm) Diameter at equator 10 inches (25.4 cm). No chips, cracks or repairs, few minor surface scratches. Inscribed: Barbini Murano. Circa 1970

Large clear glass sculpture of an Angelfish measuring 15 inches (cm) tall, and 11 1/2 inches (cm) wide at the widest point. There is a bubble inclusion "eye patch" for decoration. Designed by Licio Zanetti and made by Zanetti Vetreria Artistica, circa 1970, the piece is signed on the underside in script, Zanetti L. Zanetti Vetreria Artistica was founded by Licio and Licio's father, Oscar, in 1956. Licio Zanetti stepped down as director in 1989...

This vase is in exceptional condition, having no cracks, chips or repairs. The vase is heavy, thick walled, and has a lovely Chartreuse color. The bubble pattern of leaves is very precise and crisp, an absolutely wonderful execution of this style vase. Vase measures 6 3/4 inches (cm) Tall and is 5 inches (cm) in diameter. Excellent addition to any glass collection! Designed by Tom Connally, this decanter stands 12 1/4 inches tall with it's mushroom cap stopper. (10 3/4 inches without) and is 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The color is a crisp, clear blue. The decanter has a heavy base so its not easily tipped. These pieces were hand blown so there are variations in the glass and structure. Rare, Made only from 1969 to 1972. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks.

Pair of Mexican figures in clear and black glass. The clear glass figures have wide black sombrero's, long black mustaches and black arms with folded hands (similar in style to the Oriental figures by Seguso). The taller figure also shows off the toes of his black boots. The taller figure measures 11 inches (27.9 cm). The shorter figure, who appears to be kneeling, is 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) tall. Each figure bears a red and gold foil label with the words 'Murano Glass Made in Italy'...

Heavy, thick walled vase in cobalt blue cased in crystal, with silvery air traps in a repeating geometric pattern.

The vase stands 8 inches tall and is 4 inches in diameter at the top. the base tapers to 2 1/4 inches.

This vase weighs in at 9 pounds, a lot of weight to work with on a handmade, hand-finished piece!

Black swirls on background of burnt orange glass form this letter holder from a desk set series produced by Salviati in the late 1970's. The piece stands 4 inches (10 cm) tall, 6 inches (15 cm) wide, and is 3 inches (7.6 cm) deep. There is a small, less than 1/8 inch (.3 cm), flake on the edge of the piece, but otherwise in fine condition. Circa 1975

Exceptional representation of Wine/Water Bearer in black (dark amethyst), opalescent blue, lattimo, and red glass. Blackamoor figure in billowing pleated harem pants in red glass with heavy gold leaf holds a water jug of the same red glass/gold leaf combination in one hand, the other arm is held outstretched. Pants are accented by opalescent blue pointed shoes with gold leaf, and a striped sash of the same opalescent blue and lattimo...

Large stylized murano glass figure of a kneeling Asian, rendered in two shades of smoky gray glass with amethyst undertones. The figure is made of simple forms, but the attention to detail is evident in the face and head of the figure. The figure stands 13.5 inches (34.2 cm) tall and is slightly over 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide and is 7.5 inches (19 cm) deep. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Large Splatter glass vase for Hadeland (Norway) designed by Gro Bergslien. Vase is a combination of opalescent glass, splattered with blocks and networks of colors in yellow, rust, greens, and pinks, cased in clear glass. There are also embedded bubbles, adventurine, and mica spangles. The vase is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall and 7.75 inches (19.7 cm) in diameter. Marked on base Hadeland GroB in script. Fire polished pontil mark. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1970.

Large stoppered Nerox "a petoni" (patches)Decanter by Fratelli Toso in black glass with dark red and hot pink patches, designed by Ermanno Toso. Nerox is black oxide glass (nero = black, ox = oxide), and is a true black glass. This black glass is used to gather up the patches of colored glass to create the "a petoni" pattern on a black ground. There are versions of the patched pattern that use clear glass as the gather, rather than black glass...

This is the largest size Thule vase made by Holmgaard. The vase, made in smoke grey glass, is 9 1/4 inches (23.2 cm) in diameter, and stands 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall at the highest point. It tapers to 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm) at the base. It is in excellent, near mint condition, with no discernable scratches (except for those expected on the base), and no chips cracks or repairs. Absolutely beautiful piece of glass! The base is signed Holmgaard/1961 with Per Lutken's cypher

Center bowl of opalescent glass with irregular aventurine patches floating in pools of clear teal-blue. Slightly irregular oval, almost egg shaped, bowl measures a (HUGE!) 19 inches (48 cm) by 13 (33 cm) and is 2.5 inches (6 cm) deep. Bowl has a flat bottom with a polished pontil and retains its blue and silver Murano Glass, made in Italy label. Likely an Ermanno Toso design of 1950/1960. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1960.

This pieces sparkles! Designed by Ermanno Toso this cylindrical decanter is made with twisted pink canes and aventurine filigree. Matching stopper with clear glass flange and stem. Stopper does have burst bubble which occurred during manufacture. Decanter stands just over 18 inches (46 cm) Tall, and has no chips, cracks or repairs. Retains the blue and silver foil export label used by Fratelli Toso. Identical piece is shown in Leslie Pina's book Fratelli Toso, page 23. Excellent condition...

Scrambled glass paperweight, millefiori, broken canes, chunks and blurred murrines cased in a light raspberry or amethyst glass (hard to tell but definitely not colorless glass) Measures 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm) wide by 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) tall. Has KB Import label and Blue on silver foil AF MURANO Cockerel label. Condition is excellent with no bruises, cracks or chips. Circa 1950 - 1960.

Pair of decorative leather bound bookends with brass accents. Silver tone metal mounts of a Griffon accent the brass; gold tone stitching accents the rich brown leather. Bears logo of Mark Cross in gold on the bottom of each piece. The bookends measure 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall, 5.5 inches (14 cm) deep and 6.25 inches (15.9 cm) wide. Some scuffs and marks from use, but no rips or tears to the leather, nor dents to the metal. Circa 1960.

A pair of large droplet shaped pendant lamps in cool green and blue murrines that resemble cells. An Ermanno Toso design from around 1960. The murrines are floating in a clear glass matrix on which they were gathered, heated, then blown.

Each hanging fixture has a satiny acid matte finish and is capped with a polished brass plate with loop for hanging. The brass plates appear to be original. The brass plates are held on by clips and can be removed to change the bulbs...
