Venini 'a canne' bowl in alternating stripes of red, and clear glass, with applied clear glass foot. Foot has polished pontil and is stamped Venini murano ITALIA. The bowl measures 9.75 inches (24.7 cm) in diameter and stands 5.25 inches (13.3 cm) tall. It has a wavy rim like most 'a canne' pieces. Possibly Scarpa or Paulo Venini, of 1950's vintage. The bowl is in excellent condition, with minor scratches on the bottom interior of the bowl, but no chips, cracks or repairs. This is eye-catching!

Pair of finely detailed and colored, heavy, original painted cast iron bookends. They feature a log cabin with a red roof, surrounded by a forest of tall trees and shrubs beneath a full moon in a midnight blue sky. The casting is high quality with the trees and cabin in relief. Bengt Edenfalk vase for Skruf. This squat, rounded corner vase is from the 1950's Spun series where glass threads are wound around the exterior of the piece as decoration. Edenfalk was a designer for Skruf from 1953 to 1978, then Kosta from 1978 on, pieces from the Spun series were featured in a major exhibition at Corning Museum of Glass in 1959. Murano glass vase with a wavy edge constructed of rows clear cobalt blue murrines framed with black glass alternating with bands of light purple glass with a red glass accent line. The vase sports two heavily gilded glass raspberry prunts near the base of the vase. Vase measures 8.75 inches (22.2 cm) in height and is 5 inches (12.7 cm) in diameter. The vase is signed and dated in script Vittorio Ferro 92. Condition is excellent, with no chips cracks or repairs.

Fratelli Toso Rose Bowl constructed of Cattedrale (or Tiffany Window) murrines in reds, greens, yellows and blue. The murrines feature clear "windows" of glass.Some have "bullseye" configurations in the clear window and black (nerox) glass frames. This is a delightful 4 inch (10.2 cm) diameter bowl with a height of 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) due to the polished top. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1955.

Large Splatter glass vase for Hadeland (Norway) designed by Gro Bergslien. Vase is a combination of opalescent glass, splattered with blocks and networks of colors in yellow, rust, greens, and pinks, cased in clear glass. There are also embedded bubbles, adventurine, and mica spangles. The vase is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall and 7.75 inches (19.7 cm) in diameter. Marked on base Hadeland GroB in script. Rare, early Eva Englund vase from her days at Pukeberg prior to joining Orrefors. The piece dates from 1966, is very large and in exceptional condition. With it's GREAT color and style this Venini will fit easily into your Retro 50's decor! This Venini Fazzoletto measures just over 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall, and is 7 inches (17.8 cm) in diameter. The Turquoise interior is cased with a layer of latimo glass. Ground pontil, and signed "venini/Murano/Italia" on the bottom. This vase is in exceptional condition, having no cracks, chips or repairs. The vase is heavy, thick walled, and has a lovely Chartreuse color. The bubble pattern of leaves is very precise and crisp, an absolutely wonderful execution of this style vase. Vase measures 6 3/4 inches (cm) Tall and is 5 inches (cm) in diameter. Vase stands 10 inches (25.4 cm) tall, and has a "double ruffled" rim. Made by Fenton 1947 to 1952 as model number 189. Unmarked, probably had paper label (Fenton glass was not marked "in mold" until 1953). A fascinating optical effect is caused by the clear glass "dots" that lends interest to this style vase. There is a small burst bubble in the clear casing glass in the lowest row of "dots" that occurred during manufacture. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1950.
