Pryn was born on April 11th, 1891 in Frederiksberg, Denmark. He was self taught and eventually developed the skill to be considered one of the great landscape artists of his time. His art has become increasingly popular throughout the world and his reputation continues to grow. He is a well listed artist with extensive auction records. His pieces continue to appreciate in value in leaps and bounds and in June of 2006 the work of this renowned Danish naturalist realized record prices with a top price of more than $27,600 for a village landscape. The painstaking detail executed in this large landscape makes this a true Pryn masterpiece.
