An exquisitely handcrafted Japanese bronze shoe horn with mixed metal embossed decorations. The highly embossed decorative handle is crafted in the shape of a vase and comprises a combination of applied and embossed birds and flowers. Two of the applied birds are made of what appears to be copper which lends a contrasting reddish tone against the bronze. The sides of the handle are adorn with 2 dragons. The shoehorn is engraved with etchings of bamboo and a bird.
