A finely handcrafted chinese export silver card case. This card case is in the rectangular form with a pull-off top. This elegant card case is highly repoussed with dragons and an engraved shield-shaped cartouche to the front. The back of the card case is also repoussed with prunus blossoms. Both the dragon and prunus blossoms contrast nicely against a finely textured background.

Marked: signed to the base with KH and a chinese character mark (KH was a maker in Shanghai during the period 1870s to 1920s).
