A fine chinese export silver 3-piece tea set comprising a teapot, a creamer and an open sugar bowl. The handle on the teapot has insulators, and the 3 pieces are each chased and embossed, and are decorated with chrysanthemum flowers against a textured background. Each piece has a round, uninscribed cartouche.
Age: late 19th C to early 20th C
Condition: good for its age except for a small repair at the base of the spout of the teapot (see photos). Also, there is a tiny bruise to the round cartouche on the teapot (see photos).
Stamped with a chinese character mark.
