We are pleased to be offering you today a fantastic and genuine early 19th century circa 1800-1820 Derby Bacchus mask Mug/Tankard. The mug is molded with the face of Bacchus and the hand painting is finely executed.It has a loop handle also highlighted with gilt decoration This is a genuine early Derby mug and has the Derby puce mark to the base.Condition is excellent with no repairs chips cracks and only some mild rubbing to the gilt foot rim and the rim at the top otherwise in excellent condition with normal age and use related wear.You can see from our images it is in excellent condition.
