We are pleased to be offering you today a beautiful Victorian English Sterling Silver Chatelaine. The Chatelaine comprises three cast and pierced plaques supported on ornate silver chains. The top plaque has a waist clip to the reverse. The three plaques are decorated with scrolls and floral pattern and within these figures of Cupids and a Lion. There are five matching ornate chains which terminate in silver bulldog clips for attaching various accessories and one plain chain to the reverse. Only two of the bulldog clips are hallmarked sterling. There is a silver loop to the reverse of the last plaque which could be used to support another item. All the plaques are fully Hallmarked with the City mark for London and the date code for 1894 and also the makers mark SJ for Samuel Jacob. Also the clip to the reverse is hallmarked. The condition of this beautiful Chatelaine is very good with just normal age and use related wear
