Chinese Cinnabar Lacquer Two Peaches Box and Cover. The cover carved with boys at play. The sides with a diaper ground. 18/19thC. Diameter 11.7cm. Condition: small chip 0.7cm to inner rim of base, minor chip to lotus petal held in boy's hand and to diaper ground.

A large Chinese Ming style two colour lacquer tray. Carved with a central scene of figures greeting a procession of riders on horseback. 19thC. Diameter: 15" ( 38.1 cm ). Condition: one horse with chips to two legs, chip to carrying pole of brazier and corner of one roof. Two corners with chips.

The splayed foot decorated with lotus scroll, the stem with a central spherical mid section carved within two borders of lappets, the body decorated with panels of scholars and attendants within mountainous landscapes.
