From a NYC area estate
A charming matched pair of Qianlong export soup plates, with scalloped edges decorated with fleur-de-lis like border, and carefully enameled with floral sprigs in the Meissen fashion. Though made by Chinese potters, these plates reflect late Baroque Rococo design with their attention to naturalism and curvilinear forms.
Condition report: Both plates are in near perfect antique condition, with minor enamel wear and fleabite chips to rims. [Please examine all photos carefully; they are part of the condition report.]
