A rare find! A magnificent string of 81 large Baltic amber beads of matched coloring, strung together on a real silk chord. Together the beads weigh 143.6 g! We guarantee this necklace to be of genuine, natural, and untreated amber.
Please note that a similar strand of amber beads fetched $12,500 at Bonhams this spring (see picture; lot 8177 sale 21772).
Condition: great vintage condition, near perfect. The silk string is worn and undone at the end, and there is powdering and chipping of the beads near the thread holes. [Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report.]
