A lovely Kangxi period blue and white four-sided bottle vase, decorated with panels of classical Chinese beauties in various poses of refinement. The interesting square bottle form is derived from German and Dutch glassware from the 16th - 17th century, and were originally designed to hold alcohol.
Condition: 1.3 cm chip to side edge, 1.5 cm chip to foot rim, another spot of glaze fritting to the side. The original cap has been replaced with a silver plated later replacement. Otherwise this piece is in good condition with NO restorations or hairlines. [Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report.]
