From a Sheboygan, Wisconsin estate
A intricately crafted Republic period decorative censer, marked "silver" on the bottom and inset with jadeite and peking glass cabochons. The woven silver filigree work has been coated with a layer of gold, giving the piece a yellowish glow. The marvelous dragon heads on either set are paired with hanging decorative balls. Various sections have been decorated with enamel.
Condition: Good antique condition. Some age-related tarnish, some areas where the enamel has chipped or pulled away. The filigree work is basically all intact. [Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report.]
