Porcelain with underglaze cobalt blue
Diameter: 17.8 cm / 7 inches

A nice Qianlong mark and period non-imperial 'minyao' bowl, potted sturdily with a bubbly light-greenish clear glaze and underglaze decorations in a deep true cobalt blue. The kind of floral scroll work seen on this bowl became very popular with domestic Chinese consumers during the mid-18th century.
Condition: A stress fracture to the foot rim, otherwise in perfect antique condition. [Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report.]
