Lobed Kangxi Blue and White Dish
Date: c. 1700-10, early 18th century | Kangxi Period, Qing Dynasty
Materials: Porcelain with underglaze cobalt blue
Diameter: 15.4 cm
Height: 3.4 cm
Provenance: From Washington DC metropolitan area estate
Description: A lovely small Kangxi period blue and white dish, of molded lobed form with a scalloped mouth rim to imitate the shape of a flower, and painted with flower sprigs in the central well, with the cavetto radiating with layered panels of seasonal flowers.
Condition: three very tiny pin-sized fleabites to the mouth rim, otherwise perfect [Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report.]
