A nicely carved 19th c white jade belt buckle, of reticulated qilong form, and mounted with a silver letter opener decorated with crashing waves and incised dragons. The tone of the jade is of a translucent grayish white.

Condition: Some minor age-related wear to the jade surface. The stone has some natural fissures and inclusions, some of which which is on the surface (see pictures!). Otherwise in good antique condition. The silver mounting can be easily attached or removed at will.[Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report.]
