Large Kangxi Floral Bowl (KWC091316)

Material: Porcelain with overglaze famille verte enamels

Description: A gorgeous lobed lotus-like shape with a scalloped mouth rim, and decorated with eight different panels of seasonal flowers to the exterior, while simple floral sprays cover the interior. The quality of the enamels is bright and intense, and the glaze is a nice creamy white. This bowl is an excellent example of Kangxi famille verte porcelain.
Condition: There is a shallow 2 cm chip to the foot rim that has been filled in and painted over. The mouth rim has some very tiny fleabite chips and glaze fritting. Otherwise this bow is in great antique condition. [Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report.]
