Burmese wooden crowned Buddha or sometimes known as 'King Buddha's sitting in Mara Vijaya (calling the earth to witness) posture on double lotus base with calm facial expression, wearing diadem-crowns and ornaments of kings instead of ordinary monk's robes, traces of original lacquer and gilding remain in good condition.
Crowned Buddha represents the Buddha's role as a universal sovereign.
