Burmese wooden crowned Buddha or sometimes known as 'King Buddha's sitting in Mara Vijaya (calling the earth to witness) posture on double base, wearing diadem-crowns and ornaments of kings instead of ordinary monk's robes.

Crowned Buddha represents the Buddha's role as a universal sovereign.

Age: Burma, Ava Period, 16th Century
