Large Burmese alabaster crowned Buddha or sometimes known as 'King Buddha's sitting in Mara Vijaya (calling the earth to witness) posture on a base with calm facial expression, wearing diadem-crowns and ornaments of kings instead of ordinary monk's robes.

Crowned Buddha represents the Buddha's role as a universal sovereign.

Age: Burma, Shan Period, 17th Century
Measurement: Height 93 C.M. / Width 52.7 C.M.
