Hoi An Blue and White floral motif dish The typical floral motifs of Blue and White Plates of the Hoi An ware consist of 4 different kinds of flowers as Mai, Lan, Cuc and Truc, representing 4 seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

A blue and white glaze ceramic dish painted in the center with flower blossom enclosed by a double line border set with cloud scrolls below a border of foliage vine scrolls.

Age: Late 15th century-Early 16th century, late tran dynasty, Early Le dynasty.
Measurement: Diameter 24.3 C.M./ Height 4.9 C.M.
Condition: Three small firing cracked lines on the interior. On the exterior are tiny firing cracked lines and a firing dark spot. Nicely decorated with deep dark blue under shiny glaze. Please refer to the enlargement photographs.
