Glazed in imitation of Jun wares, this pear shaped vase has a single bow-string band circling the shoulder area in matching with the three bow-strings repeated circling the main body. The exterior is covered with a mottled glaze of a deep crushed strawberry-red colour with subtile streaking in purple and milky blue that falls from the mushroom-colored rim. The glaze continues on the interior fading to reveal a ge-type glaze that covers the remainder. The base left bare revealing a burnt orange from the firing.

A beautiful vase that would compliment any collection
