The cover has a small loop with a center hole. The teapot has a "C" shaped handle with a gentle curving spout on the opposite side. The inside has been left unglazed with one square hole for the pouring spout. The base is also unglazed and recessed. In the center is a 4 character mark of "Ge Mingxiang" surrounded by a square border. There is a simple wave design within the clay that surrounds the teapot at the base. The teapot is approximately 8" high by 9" wide and 3 1/2" in depth (all sizes include the top, handle and spout). Condition: The teapot is in good condition with no noticeable cracks or breaks. There is some age appropriate wear.
