Pair of Chinese carved wooden (Rosewood) Buddhist lions (Foo Dogs). The male and female each represented in pose; the female with the cub and the male with the ball. Each has a loose ball in their mouth. The base of each with a removable wooden prayer slot. Age: Late 19th century Size: 7" high by 2-1/5" depth by 3-1/4" wide Condition: Generally in overall good condition. One of the bases has a chip (refer to pictures)
