Chinese tea caddy and saucer done in grisaille tones with gilt.
The tea caddy has a orange peel white glaze ground with a central flower with butterflies on the front and back. Similar design is on each side. The cap is original. The base left bare.
The saucer is done in a similar design with a central flower surrounded by various borders. The reverse glazed in white.
Note: This is not a matching set but has been put together as they compliment each other
Size: Tea Caddy is approximately 3-1/8" wide by 5-1/4" high by 1-1/2" depth.
Saucer is approximately 5-3/8" diameter by 1-1/4" high
Age: Qianlong period (1736 - 1795)
Condition: There is wear to both items on the enamels and the gilt highlights. The lid of the tea caddy has been broken and glued back (please refer to picture). The saucer has three hairline glaze cracks
