Pair of Chinese porcelain hat stands with a central figure of a foo dog done in iron red enamels with green eyes with pups playing around. One of the hat stands carries writing in black ink at the top. The other has a poem in black ink on the reverse. Glazed white on the insides and on the base with the base rims left unglazed. One has a bulls-eye base. Both carry remnants of Jianding export seals. Gilt borders on both. Size: Approximately 11-1/4" high by 4-7/8" diameter Condition: Both have wear to the gilt borders. One of the hat stands has been broken and re-glued. The other has a glaze crack approximately 3" in length that is in the area of the writing. Age: Late Qing Dynasty (Guangxu) to early Republic
