Chinese elegant Dingware vase. The rounded body tapering towards the tall cylindrical base, surmounted by a slender, gently waisted neck with a boldly flared scalloped rim. Covered all over in a creamy-white glaze. Freely carved with peony and lotus blossoms with comb-etchings all around. The base rim left unglazed with the base glazed showing the characteristic glaze tear-drops. The inside left unglazed revealing the white clay. Condition: Excellent Condition Providence: Purchased many years ago from an English estate Size: Height: 29.5 cm, Width: 13 cm
