A chinese garlic head stoneware vase covered in a qingbai glaze. The body incised with peonies among various leaves. The glaze pooling in the recesses and continuing on the inside on the upper part only with the remaining left unglazed. The base and rim left unglazed. The body covered in a crackle. Age: Ming or earlier Size: 7-3/4" high by 4" diameter Condition: The neck of this vase was broken off and reglued. Due to the glaze, incised design and crackles, the repair is not noticeable.
