A large Chinese eggshell yellow ground baluster vase well painted with two principal circular panels of a large house among mountains and a coastal mountainous landscape with lesser panels. All painted on a detailed ground painted in formal Qing style with dragons, vases and other precious objects, along with flowers and formal scrolling foliage.
The neck of the vase with couplets containing poems. The inside glazed white with the rim covered in gilt. The base glazed in white with a spurious Qianlong mark in overglaze blue.
Most likely painted in Jingdezhen by master painters at the time.

Age: Late Republic to mid century
Condition: Excellent condition, no cracks and/or breaks. Some wear to the gilding on the top rim and some slight wear to the enamels.
