A classic plain stem English Georgian wine glass with pleasing proportions and constructed of lovely greyish, oily lead metal. The bell bowl has a thick base containing an elegant tear which runs down into the stem to a fine point. The glass is supported on a generous folded conical foot with broken pontil mark. The glass measures 6 1/4 inches tall, 3 inches across the bowl and just over 3 1/4 inches across the foot. The glass is in fine condition with a few small air inclusions (see photographs) and normal signs of wear to the bowl rim and foot.
