A rare ratafia glass, or perhaps more correctly surfeit water glass, with drawn trumpet bowl engraved with what looks like a cornflower, the supporting foliage spiraling up the length of the bowl above a plain stem with elongated tear standing on a folded conical foot. The proportions of the glass are typical of ratafias but are scaled up to over eight inches tall. It is rare for this style of glass to have a plain stem. The floral engraving elegantly spirals up the bowl and gives the glass a wonderfully opulent appearance in contrast to the simplicity of the rest of the glass.
Height 8¼ inches;
Bowl diameter 2 inches;
Foot diameter 3¼ inches.
