A good example of the type of glass often described as 'disguised Jacobite' glasses due to the initials of the flower names engraved around the border of the bowl spelling out the name of the Bonny Prince. The glass has a pan-top bowl on a round funnel bowl with a flower engraved border above a multi-spiral air twist stem standing on a plain conical foot. For comparison a similar glass was sold by Bonhams, Edinburgh on 18 August 2010 lot 266

Height 6 inches;
Bowl diameter 2⅛ inches;
Foot diameter 2¾ inches.

Excellent original condition with light wear to the bowl rim and foot.
