A nicely proportioned heavy baluster wine glass made from good clear lead crystal glass. The thick based bell bowl rests on a cushion shoulder knop above a teared angular knop, the tear joining to a basal knop standing on a conical folded foot. There is a nice historical touch on the foot. On its top surface a previous owner has inconspicuously diamond engraved his name: Daking. Picture six shows the faint shadow of the engraving which can be seen in the upper left quarter of the foot.
The glass is in good original condition with the expected age related wear to the bowl rim and underside of the foot. The is some fine scratch marks to the bottom ⅛ inch of the bowl.
