A well-proportioned heavy baluster goblet made of lovely clear lead metal: A glass that expresses the newly found confidence of English glassmakers at the beginning of the 18th century. The glass has a heavy bottomed conical bowl above an unusually crisp and impressive angular knop leading to a basal knop all standing on a conical folded foot.
Height 6½ inches;
Bowl diameter 2⅞ inches;
Foot diameter 3⅛ inches.
In lovely clean condition with fairly light patterns of wear to the bowl and foot rims. No restoration.
