An imposing wine glass with large capacity bucket with slightly tapered straight sided bowl above a double series opaque twist stem of a spiral gauze inside four spiral threads standing on a plain conical foot. Interestingly, the glass gives an historical window and a record so that we may appreciate how much skill is needed to make a glass of this size. The record is shown frozen in time by the sometimes laboured tooling marks on the bowl and foot and also the glass's slight misalignment.
Height 8¾ inches;
Bowl diameter 3⅞ inches;
Foot diameter 4₧ inches.
Capacity: Just over 1 imperial pint
In good order with no damage. The inside of the bowl has been lightly polished to remove some cloudiness. Production issues are noted above. Enclosed air bubble near the base of the bowl (see pic.3)
