This unusual large blue and white incense pot is a Kang Xi period (1662~1722) product. It is 5 1/2" high and 9 3/8" in diameter. On the exterior, there are six sitting Buddhist monks who have achieved enlightenment. Their worthy position is indicated by the halos around their heads. They are surrounded by a swirl cloud pattern. Also, there are clouds around the neck of the pot. Due to firing, there is one crack line on the bottom of the pot and some small dark spots inside and outside...

This is a set of twelve late Qing Dynasty Famille Rose Mille Fleurs (thousand flowers) plates. Each plate is 1” high and 7 1/2” in diameter. A large pink peony appears in the center of each plate; chrysanthemum, lily, hibiscus, iris and several unknown flowers fill the tops of the plates. This Japanese ceremonial Tenmoku style chawan (tea bowl) is a late Meiji period product. It is 5 ½” in diameter at the top, the foot is 1 ½” in diameter and 2” high. It has a very dark brown with white textured spots on the exterior. The base is not glazed and there is a swirl mark in the center. The interior of the chawan is richly colored black, dark brown, light brown and grayish blue. It is in excellent condition.

These late 19th century Chinese Famille Verte ceramic bowls are 1 7/8” high and 5” in diameter. There are two green dragons chasing flame surrounded red globes on the outside the bowls. Inside the bowls, there is one globe with flames. There is an orange peach and lucky bat mark on the bottom of each bowl. Aside from some small hair line cracks due to their age and three tiny chips on one bowl due to the firing, they are in very good condition.

This small Japanese ivory okimono is a mid-19th century product. It is 4 1/8″ high, 1 3/4″ wide and 1 1/4″ thick. It depicts a smiling fisherman standing on the shore. The fisherman is wearing a traditional bandanna and a straw apron. He uses both hands to pull a fish net in. The artist’s signature “Gyokudo” is on the base. Aside from some old repairs and crack lines due to its age, it is in good condition.
