This very well carved white jade (nephrite) Lohan (Arhat) is an early 20th century product. It depicts a Lohan sitting on a rock, his left hand holds a wood stick he is using to clean his ear; his right arm is resting on the rock. The impression on his face is just interesting and realistic. It is 6 ¼” high, 5 ¾” wide and 3 ½” thick. Aside from natural blemishes, it is in great condition.

This set of four Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Mille Fleurs (thousand flowers) dishes are ¾ inch tall and 6 ½ inches in diameter. Hundreds of different kinds of flowers cover them all. The workmanship is superb and precise. The gold trim on the rims has slightly rubbed off. They are in great condition.

This unusual Chinese export enamel and silver filigree Foo dog is 5 ¾” high (with base is 7” high), 4” wide and 2” thick. The Foo dog sits on a globe with its mouth open. Three small coral and turquoise pieces are missing from his head. Most of lacquer finish on the wood base has worn off. Otherwise, it is in fairly good condition.

This massive white jade (nephrite) carving of a brush washer is 6 ½” long, 4” wide and 1 ¾” thick. It is a late 19th century or early 20th century product. It depicts a large Buddha hand citron surround by some smaller citron, peach and pomegranate; one little monkey rests on the side. Aside from some natural blemishes on the bottom, it is in excellent condition.

The small jade carving is 2” long, 1 ¼” wide and 1” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It depicts a smiling fisherman. On one hand, he is holding his long beard; in the other he is holding a string of Ling Zhi (lucky mushrooms). A turtle and a fish appear on the fisherman’s back carved from dark brown part of the stone. It is in excellent condition.

This very nicely carved 19th century lacquered wood netsuke in a clam form is 1 1/8” high, 1 ¾” from the widest part and 1 ½” in depth. It depicts two elders playing “go” in a building and the third person standing on a bridge outside the house. A tall pine tree is along side of the building. There are two hermit crabs and some sea weed painted on the top of shell. Aside from a few tiny scratches, it is in great condition.

This 19th century carved wood netsuke of an Otafuku (traditional female theater character) is 2 ¼” long, 1 ¾” wide and 1” thick.
