A pair of pre-war Japanese hand painted Satsuma style bowls. One depicts a samurai holding a sword with skeletons at his side. The other depicts a lord carrying a vase. Both bowls are irregularly shaped. Not signed and in very good condition. H: 2 ¼ inches, Diam: 5 ½ inches

20th century Chinese woodcarving of a smiling Lo Han seated on a rock. One hand is resting on his upraised leg; the other is holding a Ling-Zhi. His shawl is loosely draped over his shoulder. Minor repair on the bottom. H: 7 inches, W: 2 ¾ inches, D: 3 inches

Early 20th century Chinese hand-painted porcelain statue depicting a lady holding a scroll of calligraphy. On the bottom, there are two stamps, one is ¡°China¡±; another is a maker¡¯s mark ¡°Made by Deng Rong Chang¡±. There are no chips and cracks. It is in good condition. H: 7 7/8 inches, W: 2 ½ inches

Mid 20th century Chinese lapis covered jar with floral design, good condition. H: 8 1/2 inches, W: 5 inches

This plate is a fine example of the work of Hamada Shoji, a well known Japanese master potter. It is 7 ¾ inches in diameter. It carries a letter of authenticity from Mr. Barry Till who is curator of Asian Art, Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. It was purchased in 1967 from a dealer in Hawaii. It is in very good condition.

Middle 20th century Chinese carved rose quartz statue depicting a lady holding a sword in one hand and a branch of flowers in the other. Good color and condition. H: 12 ¼ inches, W: 5 ½ inches

This white and pink carved coral piece was made around 1960. The artist used the natural coral shape to create two dragons. It is 5 ¼ inches tall and 6 ½ inches at the widest part. Though the subject is common, the carving and polish are very well done. It is in great condition.

This prewar satsuma reclining cat is 9 inches long, 5 ½ inches wide and 4 inches tall. It is in good condition. Some color has rubbed off.

This 20th century Long-Quan style seated Guan Yin with dragon is 9 ½ inches tall. The entirety of the statue is covered with green glaze except for the face, hand and foot which are covered with a brown matte glaze. It is in good condition.
