Here is a rare first edition published in 1825 in London by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, Brown, and Green. There are calf boards with a marbled pastedown which has some spotting both on the front and back.The textblock has darkened, the corners of the boards and a section of the spine show modest wear but the book is intact.Light foxing. 303pp. Fine condition for its age.

Simmons, a fugitive from justice Dated August 17, 1927 . Smith's signature is in the lower right corner - it is also signed by counsel. The paper is folded and curled at the bottom edge; there are also two small puncture marks in the upper right corner.
