A hard cover with green cloth boards and dust jacket published in 1936 by Charles Scribner & Sons. First edition/first printing with "A" noted along with the Scribner seal.The pages have toning, there is a name inscribed on the front free paper and also a note in pencil on the back paste down. The jacket has small tears, and some paper loss along the edges 602pp.
A three piece carving set with stag horn handles. The blade has light wear and is marked accordingly. The red shagreen box's satin insert has some brown staining.

An interesting silver case with enameled hunter shooting at ducks. No marks. The opening measures 2-3/16" round and the piece is 3-1/2" (h) x 4-1/2"(w) x 1" Two holes for screws are on the back. There is a small dab of solder on the top inside. This appears to be silverplate and would benefit from a cleaning.
