A large coffee table book published in 1997 by the Davis Museum and Cultural Center, Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA. This is a stated Second Printing near mint condition There is a tiny tear on the back jacket- the book has a plastic covering. 273 illustrations~ 50 in full color. 246pp.

An illustrated, collectible hard cover written by Zoe Kincaid and published by McMillan and Co. Numerous illustrations/photos with colorized frontispiece. There is slight water damage on the boards (spotting) and the pages are just a bit rippled. Also, there is a small bit of paper loss on the bottom of the front pastedown and free paper ( see photo), between pages 112-113 a very slight separation from the seam (but all intact) and page 383-4 is uncut- otherwise a fine edition...

The paper label on the spine shows some wear,there is a black smudge on the cover and the board corners show some wear otherwise in fine condition. 32 full page illustrations. 138 pages.
