Messengers of Modernism~American Studio Jewelry (1940-1960). Hard cover with dustjacket in pristine condition.

Here is a rare first edition published in 1825 in London by Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, Brown, and Green. There are calf boards with a marbled pastedown which has some spotting both on the front and back.The textblock has darkened, the corners of the boards and a section of the spine show modest wear but the book is intact.Light foxing. 303pp. Fine condition for its age.

Stated First Edition published in 1928 by the Literary Guild of America/Doubleday, Doran & Company Inc. Garden City, New Jersey.First American Edition. The purple boards show sign of wear and there is a stain on the fore edge as well as on page 432 and the opposite blank page; also a very small stain on the title page. Please refer to photos. No dust jacket.

Possibly an unstated first edition. A beautifully illustrated copy in very good condition with red leather boards, embossed flowers and gilt highlights and gilt beveled edges. The jacket has a few tears ( see photos) however, this hardcover is in nice tight condition. A fine history of the Gorham Company (Providence, Rhode Island) and their silverware products. There are 295 b&w photographs, 8 color plates, 40 photographs of marks, photographs of 313 flatware patterns. 332pp.

A Vision Shared: A Classic Portrait of America and Its People: 1935-1943. Published by St. Martins Press in 1976. Text by Hank O'Neal, photos by Dorothea Lange, Walker Evans etc... This hard cover coffee table book is tight and clean however the dust jacket is tattered. A small stain is also at the bottom of the front beige linen board. Wonderful B&W photos that capture that period in time.

Published by Harper & Brothers 1909. Copyright page indicates October 1909 (unstated first edition). The illustrations are crisp and the booth is in fine condition. An old price noted in pencil on the free paper.

Washington Irving. "Revised Edition Complete in One Volume." Published in 1887 by G.P. Putnam's Sons New York. The front features a gilt design on the black leather boards. This is a nice tight edition and smaller book that measures 4.25" x 6.50".

Published in 2014, this is a page proof facsimile preview of the finalized book written by Sufi teacher, Sherif Baba. A cloth bound edition in excellent condition (with the exception of a few front pages rippled at the bottom), the book includes a series of transcriptions of an event at which Sherif discusses in depth the most important aspects of Sufism, i.e. Basmala. 478pp.

Unstated first edition published in 1920 by Harcourt, Brace and Company. Green boards with red lettering. The text block is uncut and there is a name written in ink on the front inside board. Otherwise a nice tight copy.

An illustrated, collectible hard cover written by Zoe Kincaid and published by McMillan and Co. Numerous illustrations/photos with colorized frontispiece. There is slight water damage on the boards (spotting) and the pages are just a bit rippled. Also, there is a small bit of paper loss on the bottom of the front pastedown and free paper ( see photo), between pages 112-113 a very slight separation from the seam (but all intact) and page 383-4 is uncut- otherwise a fine edition...
