Dotted border on both sides of coin. Set in modern silver gilt pendant. Coin in very good condition. Found in Jerusalem.

Herod Archelaus was the son of Herod the Great and was Ethnarch of Samaria, Judea and Idumea from 4 B.C. until 6 A.D. when the territory which he ruled was turned into a Roman province.
