A cast bronze inkwell with a recessed top containing a central hole for access to the container below. The entire piece supported by a small foot. It is minimally embellished with only a recessed band on the upper part of the body and a smaller raised band above as decoration. Two small holes are present on either side of the piece below the rim, these would have originally held a handle for easy transportation.
In excellent and original condition with natural patina present.
