Of flexible and hand-wrought construction with bezel mounted teal ceramic oval pieces at the terminals. The band shows a warm patina with some roughness under the edge near one end. The outer band shows either a partially obscured mark for sterling or a maker’s mark. It has an 8-inch inner circumference, and is 3/16 inch wide.

This sterling silver necklace has a classic, timeless look that makes it a wardrobe staple. It is composed of alternating round beads and larger irregular-shaped ones with a pocked surface similar to a hammered look. It has an unidentified maker’s mark, but is probably American-made. This stunning pendant, in the late 1960s-70s Brutalist tradition, is composed of silver and set with an impressive sugar-loaf cabochon. The silver is darkened and features a highly oxidized center within a lattice-like design of roughly molded openwork. The back evokes molten lava with its wavy texture. The stone is likely a highly-included quartz, polished and showing hardly any wear, surprising given its 1/2-inch height. The bail is hand-formed and appears to be designed so that a thick chain is not necessary; it is possible the pendant could have been suspended from a neck ring. The top of the pendant near the bail shows a mark of 835 for silver content. There is what appears to be a ladder-like maker's mark next to it and the initials I.B.H on the other side. (The immediate area has been lightly polished in order to see the marks.) Research is continuing as to the maker and country of origin. The pendant measures 4 1/2 inches long, including the bail, and approximately 2 1/4 inches wide. Gross weight: 53 grams

Here is a hand-constructed cuff bracelet made of multiple wires that are joined at the terminals and kept in place by horizontal rings. The wires look to be silverplated; the rings and soldered terminals are white metal. The cuff has a good heft (56 grams) and an impressive look. It is also well balanced, so doesn't turn on the wrist. It measures a little over 1 inch wide and 5/8 inch high with an inner circumference of about 7 ¼ inches.

A large cabochon of Baltic amber with a deep, nicely distributed color is mounted within a sterling floral surround; the mounting has a closed back. The amber exhibits hardly any wear. The back has a working original rollover clasp as well as the maker’s mark of Niels Erik From of Denmark. The pin measures about 1 5/8 inches across.

The rectangular panel of this silver pin has interesting, different textures on back and front. The panel is curved and scalloped along the top and bottom edges with tiny beads and blocks in the mold, creating a quite complex design. The cabochon chrysoprase is prong set above a circular opening, bisected with a flattened silver rod. The rollover clasp is secure; the back of the pin indicates .835 silver. The pin measures 1 ¾ inches long (including the rod) and 1 1/8 inches wide.

A classic look from a well-known Italian designer. Made of scored, slightly twisted links, each link bisected by a textured bar. Bracelet has full set of marks, indicating a registration city of Arrezzo, Italy, and .800 silver content. Bracelet measures 9 inches long, including chain; inserting bar clasp into the second-to-last link reduces the length to 8 inches. Weight: 52.3 grams

Composed of nine panels with a horizontal raised design on a highly oxidized background. It is marked 925 for sterling silver and has a secure box clasp. The bracelet measures 7 inches long by ½ inch wide. Weight: 20.9 grams

The top of this sterling silver modernist ring appears to be made of hand-cast drip-like elements that are incised and polished. It is attached to the flattened band on a short pedestal so that the top rises about 3/16 of an inch about the band. The inside of the band is marked Handmade Sterling and bears the impressed mark of G:son Liedholm, which may indicate Magnus Liedholm, a Swedish maker. The ring is sized at 7 1/4. Weight: 9.6 grams

This quirky and charming bird pin is the work of a talented Peruvian jeweler named Goizueta, of whom very little is known. The pin is set with two pieces of greenish-blue stone known as azurite or chrysocolla. There is some roughness to the edges of the round piece, but it is securely mounted. The pin has a secure rollover clasp and bears the name of T. Goizueta, as well as marks for sterling and Peru. It is quite substantial and measures 1 ¼ inches by 1 ¾ inches.
