Made in the Viking style, with a bold rivet-like design on the top of the band. The bangle closes with a chain and rod clasp and is very secure. The inside bears the marks of the maker, Kalevara Koru, the sterling mark of Helsinki, and the date code of Q8 for 1993. The two marks for Finland silver are struck as well, but indecipherable. The bangle has a strong look and is quite substantial, but it is not a large piece, measuring just under ½ inch wide; the internal circumference is about 6 ½ inches (for a smallish wrist). Weight: 25.3 grams
