Composed of 27 medallion drops, this impressive, late 19th-century bracelet is a stunning example of New York silversmith George W. Shiebler's Etruscan line. Each medallion bears a classical profile; there are eight different profiles repeated. The medallions are well cast with fine detail, enhanced by oxidation, with only very minor wear. The round box clasp also bears a classical profile; on the underside of the clasp box is a small puncture surrounded by solder, as well as the partial Shiebler winged mark and the design number of 1156. It is also marked sterling. The bracelet measures about 7 1/2 inches long by a little over an inch wide, including the drops. Weight: 61.5 grams
